Anya Amarillo is a Filipina Vancouver-based Artist, Having Studied 2D and Experimental Animation at Emily Carr University of Art and Design, with a Bachelor of Media Arts.

She is currently focused on Storyboarding and rough animation, specifically character acting-based animation. The narrative and character-based cartoons she would watch while growing up in Singapore inspired her to be an artist.

She’s striving to work in the children's/teen media industry so she can inspire new generations of artists. she is the creator and director of the student short film, Galactic Canine Space Force.
